You are invited to participate in Works-In-Progress on Friday Dec 19th from 7-9pm. Works-In-Progress is a night for circus artists to present unpolished demos in a low-pressure, come-as-you-are environment. Imperfection is not only welcomed but celebrated. 🎉
At this casual event, we welcome demonstrations of:
• a sequence that may become part of an act
• a skill you just learned that you’re proud of
• a character you’re developing who isn’t quite realized yet
• anything you’re working on that doesn’t feel “finished”
This is an entirely FREE event, whether you do a demo, or simply spectate. Guests are welcome (18+). Festive attire encouraged! If you want to bring a favorite holiday treat to share, please do! 🍪🧁
For those wanting to do a demo: The Loft will be available for warm-ups, with demos beginning at 7:15pm, and wrapping no later than 9pm. Space is limited, so please aim for three minutes or less. Below is a link to the sign-up sheet. If you don’t care about music, leave that column blank. If you’re not sure exactly how much time you need, give your best estimate.
