Workshop with PJ Perry

FANCY SUPERKICKS

Saturday October 24

2- 4pm

Take that standard beat pathway and make it into a THING! Fancy legs, unexpected pathway variation, and a whole lotta style. We will work from creating efficiency in the basic beat pathway to adding the razzle dazzle. This is a workshop for those with some experience with straddle beats especially, though familiarity with scissors and flares is a plus! Those just getting acquainted with beats will hone in on how to make them feel good, while those with extensive experience will gain efficiency in addition to new ideas for choreography.

Apparatus: rope or silks

Prerequisites: comfortable inversion, familiar with straddle beat pathway

Capacity: 10 students
