Did you know the term lasso comes from Spanish “lazo” meaning a snare or slipknot? Learn tidbits like this from longtime loop-tossing ropester Terry Crane. Throwing a bite of rope with a big belly can be the ultimate in classy, facile rope technique. This workshop includes loops thrown with the feet while you hand from one or two hands. Includes the UBRopeGal back balance drop, pockethole back balance, slick ways to get into S-lock and Z-lock. Most accessible to folx who can hang by one hand for a beat, but most skills have stepped down versions to train on. Come throw the tail while you hang from the pole.
